I rented from June 2008 - July 2009, but the drop down menu wouldn't let me select 2009. I also added the electric bill onto the monthly rent of $490 for fall and summer. Well - I would never recommend Rosewood Rentals to anyone I care about, and I will never rent from them again. The landlord/manager Ajith Antony has displayed unprofessionalism every time I had to deal with him. From the day I moved in - it wasn't cleaned properly. There was green mold on the baseboards and bathroom door. After living there for a week, I had problems that I pointed out that took months just to fix. The bathroom flooring wasn't caulked and water was getting under it, causing mold and mildew. This still was never fixed properly. Ajith uses shady maintenance guys - people who aren't certified and don't understand how to perform their tasks. It took three weeks on and off just to get two windows replaced in my apartment. The maintenance guy would not clean up his trash left in the apartment, and would invite a friend (and his fiancee) while he worked in my apartment. He also had a copy of my key and was never supervised. Twice he walked into my apartment while I was showering, and continued to work while I was in the bathroom. Very unannounced. Then when I had new neighbors, it took 8 months of complaining for Ajith to even take action. I had called the police previously to contacting Ajith, and figured he might do something about it because it states in the lease tenants are not to disrupt other tenants in the unit by any means. In March Ajith sent them a copy of the lease and highlighted the areas they were causing problems in. The noise still continues to this day. I get awaken 2-7am in the morning by their partying. When my boyfriend moved in Ajith added a "hidden" fee that was not mentioned on the lease. Yet, this was back in August and my boyfriend's name is still not even on my lease. Ajith would bend some of the lease terms or switch them around. I didn't think he'd turn out to be the way he is, otherwise I would've called him out on it so he couldn't take advantage of me. Near the end of my lease now he started to show my apartment. Tuesday I had three people in here. Wednesday I had three. I've only asked that he give me a 24-hour notice before coming into my apartment and the first scheduling he just said "11am-2pm". That day he told me the appointment times. And today I was expecting a showing at 2pm, which was a "maybe" showing. He's showing another apartment in this building and IF the person wanted to see a 1br he'd show them mine. Well, at 11:45am he walks into my bedroom while I was sleeping, and then says he had -2- showings today. Instead of apologizing he said I needed to be more prepared for showings. This is typical of how things are handled. There is no care to the tenant. There is no good relationship or friendliness. Everything is unprofessional. The bottom line is he wants money and he won't provide comfort or convenience if you've felt that has changed while you were staying at his units. The only good thing is free plot in the back for parking, but given the neighborhood my car was already broken into once. The other tenants park on the street. My neighbor sells drugs to pay rent. This entire situation is ridiculous. I don't recommend Rosewood Rentals to anyone I care about. It's sincerely not worth the trouble. My next apartment I'm going to be paying $200 more but that's the price I'm willing to pay for peace of mind. I rented from summer '08 through summer '08. ...
