It's a glorified dorm. Smelly common areas, loud music at ALL hours of the day, bicycles blocking the entrance to your unit, random people who don't reside in the building coming in and out. It is definitely 420-friendly. A day will not pass where you will not smell weed. If you are unfortunate enough to rent here already, you are probably used to being awoken every day by the sounds of your neighbor’s dog barking. From sunrise to sunset, you can hear little Fido barking his heart out from your neighbor’s windows, which of course, are left open to ensure you cannot escape the sound. If the constant barking of dogs is not enough to deter you, let’s move on to animal feces. Tenants of Envision Real Estate will proudly admit that they DON’T clean up after their dogs. They will let them roam your street unleashed, defecating all over the sidewalk and grass. And if you don’t like rats, I’d suggest staying far away, as the piles of dog feces attract the rats to the buildings. Maintenance requests are left unanswered for months at a time. In the units you will find mold, water damage, broken radiators and windows without screens. Properties are not secure and doorbells don't work; be prepared to find random strangers in your building at any time of day. Don’t plan on ordering anything for delivery to your apartment. Or if you do, prepare for your packages to get stolen. Heat is included in rent because they never turn it on. Also, speaking of rent, it is constantly being raised for absolutely no reason, or as my neighbors and I were told, “because it’s just too low for the area.” I would not recommend renting a property that is managed by Envision. To be honest, they let their properties ruin the entire street so I wouldn’t even rent or buy NEAR an Envision Real Estate property. ...
