I found live roach activity and over 150 dead roaches in my kitchen when I moved into 5858 N Sheridan, owned and managed by Becovic Management Group. I immediately moved back out and requested to be released from the lease and be refunded rent and fees. They refuse. They want to keep my rent and charge me four more months' rent to break my lease. They have offered zero financial compensation. In 20+ years of renting this is the one of the worst experiences and Becovic is one of the most ruthless landlords I have ever encountered. ...
