Main issues with the building would be improper fire protection (fire doors don't work, fire alarms don't work). Tenants smoke in the apartment (tobacco and marijuana), which doesn't mix well with the poor fire protection systems. Any issues with the tenants are best left alone as the landlord will not help with issues, and the tenants do not care (issues include: noise, leaving trash lying around, dog waste outside, theft of clothing from washing machines). Best thing: has a roof. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...
