I lived at lakeside from Sept 06 to May 08. I would have moved but I could not afford to do it at the time. I would not recommend anyone move into these apartments for the following reason. My apartment flooded due to the old water heater and all they did was move me into another apt because they did not want me to sue. I felt that they were trying their best to rectify the situation so I let it slide. A few months later my apt was robbed and management would not let me break my lease to move to a more secure complex and I had to pay to move into a front unit so that a least other neighbors could watch my place. Not only did my apt get robbed but a few other tenants that I know got their apt broken into as well. There are no security cameras nor guards to watch the property at night young teenagers walk the complex and there is hardly any street lamp to illuminate the back end apts. I feel very uneasy to go home or out of town, when I come home I am even more disgusted because in spite of how clean I am my neighbors have roaches so therefore I do as well. I was cooking in my kitchen and turned on the sink faucet and baby roaches came pouring out of the knob. I informed the manager and all they told me was the exterminator will be in on Monday. The manager is very incompetent and is very unprofessional she is lazy and doesn’t care about the welfare of the tenants who live in the complex. The apartment complex was cheap when I moved in but I do not know what people are paying now I would suggest if you move into these apartments know your neighbors and don’t be surprise if you come home after vacation or leave and all your stuff is gone. But the most important things to remember “IF” you move into “LAKESIDE APARTMENTS” is to have RENTERS INSURANCE!! I rented from fall '06 through spring '08. ...
