Lindsay, the property manager, has said to people, "I don't care," when it comes to their needs at this apartment. She will argue the most mundane point with you, rather than "care" about whether or not you are satisfied with the apartment and your relationship with the management. I am appalled by how little they "care" about their tenants. This place stinks (literally and figuratively), and constantly has homeless people in the parking lot, and the parking lot has broken glass all over the place. As for parking, you either pay a ridiculous amount to have covered parking, or you run the risk of having your car broken in to or keyed (which I had happen), or towed for no reason. This place has a tremendously dirty lobby and elevator - I never brought any friends to my apartment because it was too embarrassing. DO NOT LIVE HERE! RUN LIKE HELL! It costs so much to live here, and there are no amenities. Oh yeah, and there are 6 dryers in the laundry room, but only 2 work correctly!! I let them know this about 13 months ago, and they're still broken! The laundry machine also eats your laundry card on occassion (which means that you have to pay another $5 for a new card), and the machines are always breaking down or not ever working at all, which means that you lose money that way as well. Over the past year, I've probably lost about $50, and when I call the number on the machine or let the management know, they never get back to you about compensating your lost money. So be prepared with extra money when you do your laundry. The office staff NEVER leave you any messages about any mail packages that you may have gotten that were left in their office. I once had a friend send me a surprise birthday package, and I never got it until MUCH later, when my friend finally asked me if I'd gotten the gift. Now I have everything sent to my office, and hope that I don't have any other surprise gift packages in their office. Actually, the night guard once told me about another package that had been sitting in their office for about a week - Lindsay and Bianca had seen me over and over again during that week, and never once bothered to tell me I had a package sitting right next to them. Yup, like I said before, they really don't care about their tenants. It's totally absurd and ridiculous. They are totally two-faced. Run like hell from this place. I have little regrets in life, this is definitely one. By the way, it's next to impossible to break the lease - you basically have to have a couple thousand dollars at your disposal in order to break the lease... I'm sure they do this because they know that people would be leaving them over and over and over again, and fast. If you get an apartment that faces out, the windows are huge (which is kinda cool), but they also leak a tremendous amount of air. So your heating bills are incredibly expensive. As if all this weren’t enough, you will almost always have a cold shower in the morning, and the management just doesn’t care about that. Again, DO NOT LIVE HERE! High tail it outta there as fast as you can! There are so many other places you can live – just do it! Run, run, run for your life!!! I rented from winter '06 through spring '07. ...
