We just moved in a couple of months ago and the carpets were stained even after they had them cleaned, the walls were dirty, and had nail holes all over the place. There are 2 holes up stairs that looks like someone kicked them in. The sinks in both bathrooms are rusted and chips out of the paint the faucets are also rusted to the point that you can't use the lever for the sink stopper. The towel racks in both bathroom look like they were repaired with wads of chewing gum and when we tried to hang our towels they fell off of the wall. The A/C smells like mold. The tree over our balcony drops so many purple berries and leafs that we can't even go out there to enjoy it with out tracking in berries and staining the carpet. The refrigerator looks like someone bashed it in on all of the sides and the same with the dishwasher. The shower walls were repaired very poorly, you can tell that it caved in in the past and they repaired it so unevenly and poorly that we are afraid to touch it because it looks like it's going to fall off. The kitchen light didn't work for 3 weeks, even after changing the bulbs. We had to use a work light because, when we reported it to the office no one came to fix it. We got tired of waiting and didn't want to deal with the office again. Every time we called, they acted like they didn't remember who we were, they even gave us excuses like "The maintenance crew leaves at 4:30" and "They don't work on weekends", even though we see them here after 4:30pm and on the weekends on a regular basis. We ended up fixing some of the issues ourselves with our own money. After spending 200 almost 300 bucks of our own money to fix what they should have fixed, we receive a call from the office saying we didn't pay our application fees, we have been living here for 3 months now and they are just now questioning our application fees? Shouldn't that have been taken care of, oh say, around application time???!!! Which, by the way were paid. You can't get this place to do what they are suppose to do as far as repairs but, if they think you owe them money you'll get a phone call right away. The people in the office have no clue what each other are doing, one person tells you one thing and another tells you something else and that Ethan kid is useless. We did view this unit before we moved in and agreed to sign the lease as long as the repairs were made and we were promised they would be. As you can see the were not repaired even after we moved in. No wonder they were in such a hurry for us to sign the lease. The utility bills here are insane!!! $320 for electric and water on a 1 bedroom apartment!!!! ...
