I really like living here but not a week has gone by when I haven't been awoken by someone moving around in the attic above my head (at 7am) and my electricity isn't shut off. Frequently, I've needed to get in or out of my apartment and have found both my doors blocked by workers. On at least a monthly basis they shut my water off. The paper notices are put up so frequently that it's easy to ignore them and be caught off guard when you're running late for work only to find that midway through your shower you're left with soap in your hair and nothing to rinse it out with. I wouldn't complain if it happened just once. Also on a monthly basis, I am forced to let strangers stomp dirty boots into my apartment to do something to my dishwasher, my fire horn(which also required me to empty both my closets), or my circuit breaker. I value my privacy and my peace and quiet. Sometimes there are workers next door working loudly from when they wake me up in the morning until the sun goes down. I could understand if they were fixing something that was broken, but my circuit breaker and my old fire alarm seemed to be working just fine. In fact, the weekend after the alarm was installed, a storm tripped the system and it was screeching louder than any alarm I've ever heard for 6 hours straight. No one is interested in the happiness of the residents here. Instead, they just care about marketing value. I rented from winter '06 through summer '07. ...
