new owners amd management . Going downhill fast. Double homicide blocks from my apartment. Tires are being stolen off cars and my water bill hasn't been ready for the third time. They quit sprayong glrass and grounds so now we have fleas and weeds w sticktights. They used to be selective on who they rent too but with so many of us long term (years) leaving due to poor maint , shootings and thefts they will take anybody. If you have children a baby nice things , need sleep or need a repair free apartment in good shape DO NOT RENT HERE.IT ISN't SAFE. My aprt has flooded twice more after they supposedly fixed pipe that goes under my apartmnt. 90 degrees inside another friends apartment for THREE DAYS and he just came back from tour in middle east. They are not military friendly and will try to nail you for breaking loose due to orders change. Why? Because they use a computer to generate bills. The management does not report to owners in TX. They are not locally owned. Theywill make a mistake and report you as not paying to tx owners as defaulting on lease. Even when lease term is up and you gave appropriate notarized service of intent to leave. Took another former renter to threaten to sue if they did not fix the incorrect reprting to redit bureau as he was in process of buying house. So in two months with new tx owners the management, the safety, the appearance and maintenance of the of vintage apartments has deteriorated to the point that people are not rerenting. Try someplace else . There are better apartments that look similar within fifteen mins to five mins close by. Also I should add, your dog or child could get attacked. They don't enforce or do anything abt people walking dogs on leash . There is dog poop everywhere. Four apartments down a person was walking their little dog and a pit bull went after it because it wasn't on a leash. It was luck the little dog and her owner was just going inside their apartment. The pit bull is still there. The management didn't do anything abt it. Large breed dogs are plentiful. There are also two great danes and a mixed breed that get out and away from their owners. One little boy got knocked down by one. That renter who owns dog is still there too. It's just npt worth staying here with the new owner changw. You actually have to cal tx if you have a complaint abt no air, broken washer dryer or apartment flooding.new management will take at least two if bot five days to dosomething abt an emergency safety issue. That is illegal.dont rent here. They don't enforce parking so a car might park behind you and you hsve to call police. The front office manager is invisible and isn't in like she and he are supposed to be. The OLD office manager was quick yo respond to any need. Well the new owners let him go and brought in the absentee office manager. I rented from fall '09 through summer 11. ...
