Malvina Reynolds was an American folk/blues singer-songwriter and political activist known for the song Little Boxes. It was written about the houses of Daly City, California but it could just as easilly been written about Lakes of Northdale where the concern is about individual tenants owning plants that detract from the "standardization" insisted but Sentinel Real Estate, a New York City based real estate goliath whose sole purpose in life is to make sure their "units" are profitable. It has been about a year since this development was purchased from America First Apartment Investors, Inc. In that time the total number of memos about plants has been four. The number of meetings with tenants has been zero. You do the math! I wouldn't move into this property until I saw real changes. I rented from fall '02 through summer '08. ...
