ABSOLUTELY AVOID this complex if you value fairness, transparency, and basic professionalism. I signed a lease here, but a few weeks later, I received a job offer that required me to relocate. I reached out immediately to try to terminate the lease or find a subletter. After trying my hand at finding someone to sublease the apartment from me with n success, I reached out to the front office to see if they could offer any assistance. Management said they’d assist in finding someone to take over my room. Nine months later, they claim they still haven’t found anyone—yet my roommate, who transferred out of the complex not too long ago, had their room filled within a week. That tells me they either didn’t try or didn’t care to help. Now they’ve locked me out of the resident portal where I normally pay rent and are demanding that I send a physical money order every month—something completely unnecessary and intentionally inconvenient. It feels like retaliation or a tactic to make things even harder. I lived here for three years and was always a respectful, responsible tenant. I paid rent on time, communicated clearly, and treated both the staff and my roommates with kindness—even when things were far from easy. At one point, I had a roommate who was clearly unstable and made living there genuinely unsafe. He accused us of stealing from him, claimed we were breaking into his room, and called the police on us multiple times without cause. Instead of addressing the danger he posed, the management’s only solution was to offer us, the ones being harassed, new rooms elsewhere in the complex. Even worse—they PAID this person to leave by refunding his security deposit and waiving all his termination fees. This entire experience has been frustrating, unreasonable, and financially punishing for no good reason. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Think twice before signing anything—they won’t lift a finger to work with you when life changes, even when you act in good faith. AVOID COLLIER COMPANIES AS A WHOLE. ...

It can get noisy. Very spacious 2/2s. 4 bus routes go by. Only moving because I don't like my roommate. Ugly furniture, though. I rented from fall '06 through fall '08.
