I lived in this place for over 10 years. When I first got there it was nice but each time the property was sold and another management company took over it just got worse. When the current management took over it was the last straw. The place is not kept up, you can't get anyone to come and fix maintenance problems, people let their dogs poop all over the place including in front of your door, the kids are complete terrors all over the property and then you have people working on their cars so it looks like you are living in a garage. The apartments are run down, carpet is not replaced, appliances are crap and with the exception of the master bedroom, all of the rooms are very small. The worst part of my whole experience there was that when I signed my lease on property manager was there, when I left there was the current property management. When I signed my lease I put money towards a bond to take care of any work that needed to be done after we moved out. A month after we move I get a letter saying I owe then $110 for cleaning and trash removal!!! They tell me that if I don't pay it they will send me to collections!! First of all, the "trash" they are referring to was a mop and broom that we left for maintenance because it was brand new! The rest of the cleaning was normal wear and tear but they insist on charging us anyway....these people are theives and I would not recommend ANYONE to live there. It is a complete dump and is totally OVERPRICED. Don't do it people! The office staff is beyond rude and couldn't give two craps about anyone who lives there. You will be totally miserable if you move there and there are too many other places in the area if that is where you want to live. Personally, having lived there for ten years I can say that it is way too crowded in that area now. Sawgrass Mills creates a huge amount of traffic and don't even think about trying to get in to the Publix shopping center. The parking lot is packed at all hours of the day and night.
