This complex has had 2 gun battles in the last 9 months with the last one resulting in 2 of my neighbors having their cars shot up! The last incident also involved a car chase and crash within the complex. This complex was here in the early 70's when I attended FSU and it shows it in every way. New owners have taken over (ACASA) and posted notices that there will be severely restricted office hours and you should make an appointment. They evicted everyone with 30 days notice, now while we are trying to vacate they have painters and repairmen literally climbing over the balcony railings and entering the apartments with no 24 notice or permission. They posted one 24 hour notice 3 weeks ago and believe they can walk in unannounced! They painted the steps while we were taking furniture down it! Unbelievable! ...

I cried when I walked into my apartment on move in day. You definitely get what you pay for. When I moved in the cement block that holds my towel rack was not on the wall but instead on top of my toilet. There are poorly patched holes in the wall and they are terribly painted as well. There were no ceiling lights in my room or living room, I had to buy my own lighting. There are no electrical outlets in my bathroom. There isn’t that many visitor parking spaces. ...

The Hub has provided my roommates and I a cheap place to live that is close to everything we need, including school. We have had some maintenance problems and the apartment isn't the highest of qualities but we have enjoyed living here and plan to stay for a while ...
