I moved in on March 31, 2022 from the first moment I entered the apartment I found many problems, the first was that I found water spilling in the corridor that leads to the rooms we found that the floor of the entire apartment was throwing a grease what it is product of the uncleanliness for years, we found the oven of the disgusting stove, the old and horrible sink, in the lower edges of the kitchen disgusting and with garbage, the broken mosquito net, another and even more serious problem is that there are cockroaches inside the apartment to which they have been told many times and they only say that it comes from outside and to add insult to injury they tell me that I have to keep the doors and windows closed for 24 hours so that the cockroaches do not enter, to which I I totally object because I never signed a contract to be locked up. they never detail the water bill and they don't give many details about the rent bill month after month it has been increasing for one thing or another. And to add insult to injury, they are upset because I am claiming my rights, As a tenant because I am the one who pays the rent and that is why I demand that everything be optimal to live with my family, I do not recommend this place, take a good look at the contract before coming to move to this place. And now finally I try to have communication with the manager, directly in the office and they never have time. ...

Tally Square is a waste of money, time, and effort. I get angry and physically sick when I think about dealing with them. They are—without a doubt—the worst apartment complex in Tallahassee. I’d give it negative stars if that was even possible. It starts off great. They hooked me & my husband with a really nice salesperson, who I discovered was the only nice person working at Tally Square. They kept telling us about the “newly remodeled units” and how nice everything was going to be really soon. The “newly remodeled units” are remodeled with cheap knock-off everything. The kitchen is too small to freaking use. The first floor units have cheap laminate, yet they charge you an extra $10/month for being in one of these units. Just for their crappy, easy-to-dent floors. Read every sentence of your lease if you (for some insane reason) still want to lease here. Process it. They will hide behind their policies that they slip into it, and will approach any problems with a "tough luck" manner if it's in the lease. They do not care. Tally Square forever hid behind their policies. They will not notify you of your water balance, even if you told them you will be gone for that month. Is that really so hard to do? Seriously? When they do talk to you, it will either be in a snarky “you’re wasting my time” manner, or they’ll rant about policy. One of the two. And my goodness—it seems like none of the leasing people can ever help you with anything more than your water balance or a maintenance order. I was constantly referred to the managers, who were just disgustingly rude. After you sign that lease, that’s all you get. Crap. All the time. I could go on for days—how I had to put in work orders as many as three times just to get them taken care of; how we are pretty sure we heard gun shots, not a car backfiring, and as close as our back door (we have no idea what else it could have been); how I didn’t even feel safe enough taking the trash out after dark. Living at Tally Square sucked. Our experience with their parent company, Aspen Management, has been worse than terrible. Just save yourself the hassle, money, and time. Drive away as fast as possible. If I can save you the headache of leasing at this horrible apartment complex, then I did something good today. If you still sign there, well, hopefully you have a better time than me. It’s doubtful, but I can hope for the best. Good luck. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...
