If I could leave zero stars, I would. This place has a MAJOR cockroach problem, and a negligent leasing office. The leasing office is ten minutes down the road. They manage a different and larger property. They don't care about Iris Flats residents; just their money. This apartment is genuinely the worst I have EVER lived in. Severely overpriced. Small apartments. Units reek of marijuana. BUGS GALORE. Mold issues upon moving in. Maintenance lied about completing maintenance requests, and the office did as well until I made it known that I had a camera. Then suddenly, they weren't sure when people had come to complete maintenance requests or look at the apartment. My two living room hurricane windows were "faulty" and disgusting. I had a broken window that was not locked or able to shut for months! Huge safety concern; it could be removed from the outside with little to no force. It wasn't handled until I reached out to the property manager's superior. Take your money elsewhere. This place is a liability to live in. I was killing on average THREE cockroaches a day, and way too many escaped me alive! I should have realized the second I moved in, cockroaches were living in my oven! And I could always count on one to be living in my stove clock. You will spend your days and nights paranoid at every shadow and random dark spot, because 9/10 times, that shadow is one of THREE cockroach species that are living in the apartment! They live in the air vents, electrical sockets, and drains! I have way too many disturbing photos of what kind of cockroaches that lived with me. The apartment did not handle it really at all until I called their corporate office. The office staff are nice enough, but none of your problems will be dealt with promptly. This apartment just wants your money, and will ask for good reviews straight to your face. The reviews about mold, bugs, no management, and much more are true! DO NOT move here. ...
