This complex takes advantage of students. READ THE FINE PRINT IN THE LEASE Go somewhere else unless you want to paint walls, steam clean carpets, wash windows inside and out, wash light fixtures, etc. 2-pages worth of rules for move out. Deposit is reasonable but what is the apts. responsibility for the rent they receive. This is a ripoff. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

Villa San Marco is an okay place to live if you are a college student, but as everyone does, I have my complaints. The floor plan is very spacious, I loved having a back deck, all the appliances work fairly well, the complex is small and usually quiet, it's a good distance from FSU and TCC, and the maintenance is awesome (I would request something online at midnight and someone would come knocking at my door the next morning). BUT... Parking sucks (visitor spots are almost impossible to get), trying to turn left out of the complex is nearly impossible without a 5 minute wait, the gym is tiny and has old equipment that sounds like it's going to fall apart, the people at the office act brain dead (we had a mold problem in our carpet and wall that they wanted to "fix" by vacuuming and painting over the mold), hot water doesn't last very long, walls are paper thin, outgoing mail never gets picked up, and more than once the office has failed to tell me I had a package waiting for me. My biggest complaint is the internet SUCKS since they changed to CenturyLink. My connection always drops and everything loads sooo slowly. Each room only gets a certain amount of mbps (megabits per second)so you have to use an ethernet cable or get a wireless router that only you use. Before, the connection was sent to a centralized location in the loft so all four room's outputs could be plugged into a router for a stronger signal. Now, if you allow other people to use your wireless at the same time, the connection is MUCH slower than it already is when only one person uses it. All in all, I loved my 3 other roommates and it was a decent place to live as a college student who just needs a place while attending school. The price was decent for what you get, but if you're looking for luxury or perfect quality, I would keep searching. I rented from fall '09 through summer 11. ...

Villa San Marco has some great apartments. My roommates and I moved in this year and we love it. Its spacious and the environment is great among other students. The 24hr computer lab / fitness center is a nice touch if you are an insomniac like me. New appliances and an updated kitchen is what sold it for me. All in all, its a great place to stay. I recommend it! I rented from summer '07 through summer '09. ...

Huge rooms with brand new appliances! The parking is great too because it’s not right next to the clubs- that also keeps the noise level down. A quiet and convenient community- Great for students I rented from fall '08 through fall '09.
