Years at this apartment: 2012 - 2013       If your planning on staying at Crystal Palms please take your money else where! It's not worth your money, time or energy. The lady's at the office sure know how to act nice...they honestly don't care! They just need you to rent out the apartment so they could make their commission When you 1st get there they are sweet hearts; however call them with a problem they have a story for each one! Your problem will not be fixed on the same day. If you would like to spend a week in the Florida's hot weather with no AC unit be my guest. They will tell you it's a contractor fixing it and they have no control. Example: Day 1 AC broke down- Hello this is ___, how may I help you?? Hi my AC isnt working could you send someone to check it? Oh I will put your name down and send someone right over...90 degree weather 5 hours later, no one comes. I call again, she then tells me I thought he went already, hold on a second and let me find out...he's coming now! Guy shows up..checks ok it's all fixed. I was happy in the middle of the night it gets really hot what happened the AC is broken again.  Day 2: left an emergency message the following morning saying that my AC is broken again. Never got a call back, I called the office and the person that answered said " oh, I never got your message, let me send him out again he will be there in 15 minutes." guy comes 3 hours later " you need a new AC unit" I asked how long will that take I have a baby that hasn't been sleeping because it's too hot. The guy says ummm...call the office..... So I called, I told her how long will this take to get my AC fixed?? It should be fixed by early morning. Did I also mention that I have a daughter that not sleeping at night because of the heat..the office lady says " take her a cold bath" I thought to myself take a newborn baby a cold bath?? And get her sick. Office lady save your advice. I asked her for some options she says " go by a fan." I said okay one more day and it's over....not just yet! Let's move on to day 3 and 4.  Day 3:I called around noon, hi I was told that my AC was going to be fixed this morning and no one came. Office lady says he's going to be there in 15 minutes she hung up, so fast that I didn't even get to ask my next question. 4 hours later I called back another office lady picked up this time. Hi, my AC is still broken and it's 86 degrees out side and 90 in my apartment I was told he was suppose to be here 4 hours ago. She says " oh he's not there yet? Hold on let me find out. Oh he should of been there since this morning I don't know why he's not there? Let me call you back. Never calls.. 2 hours later I call, where is the person that is suppose to fix my AC it's hot outside and in. She responds are your windows open?? I answer my windows are open and have been open for the past couple days... Office lady: he was suppose to be there since this morning I don't know why he hasn't come yet. Me: when is he coming? And if not what can you do to help me?  Office lady: I don't know when he's coming, but I can't do anything to help you. Me: is there another apartment you can put me in the time being...because my baby won't sleep and I have work in the morning Office lady: no, we're full ( bluntly)  Me: how about a hotel? Because you guys have been giving me the run around. At least some accommodation please Office lady: absolutely not, we cannot do that, why dont you go sleep at you moms house or a friends Me: huh?? (I couldn't believe my ears) Office lady: go sleep at friends house or your mom! (She repeated) Me: I do not pay rent to sleep at my moms house Office lady: we'll I can't do anything for you.  Day 4: to be continued because my AC isn't fixed yet. The rest of this conversation is history at that office they do not care about their tenants, there Always going to have unhappy tenants if they have those two rude liars running the office.  Their motto is Live here stay here That's diffinitely wrong if you live there you will wish you never stayed there  You have been for warned, don't do it to yourself. The apartment: the upgrade unit is not what it seems the cabinets are two different colors; they also don't close. When you get your checklist observe your apartment before you even move in.  The window handles are old and they fall out  The washer and dryer- small and old, also makes tons of noise  Everything falls apart in the upgrade you pay more for cheap I rented from winter 11 through fall 11. ...
