I live in Avondale Overlook in Hyattsville Maryland and this place is horrible. Rats, mice, roaches and other infestations, loud neighbors that you report and they do nothing. Washing machines broken on multiple floors for a month and half that always break down, of course they blame the tenants but the machines are old, maintenance is horrible, especially this one Latino maintenance man that has a nasty attitude that spies on the tenants for management, withholds packages delivered to tenants, which is against the law. Frequent, the trash shoot is backed up to the top floors, which increase the infestation problems, the elevators always breaking down. The building smells, they blame the tenants for RATS and mice. They have hidden fees, and often jack peoples rent up with no explanation or warning. And for over $2000 a month for a two bedroom, we as the tenants deserve better. Even if I move, which I am as soon as I can find a place, I'm still going to find every tenant they've evicted to get their side and file a complaint with the court to file a class action suit. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Everything that goes wrong in this building, they blame the tenants. And the leasing staff and maintenance is inept. ...
