Highly advise not to rent here. Vernona the manager is evasive and rude, seems to get worse with each new property manager they get. They play favorites for sure. The new maintenance is incompetent and half repairs things and appear dirty, thuggish, and completely unprofessional. Property management company does not care to hear about tenant concerns, this was evident when corporate refused to talk to us and just gave us their attorneys number instead. Buildings are filthy ranging from trash, to buildings having dog feces in the stairwell and buildings smelling like a urinal. Complained about pigeons roosting in the ceiling several times, noticed feathers in our filter, every time WE changed them. Dog feces is first thing you see when exiting the buildings. Multiple stolen vehicles, vandalized vehicles. Maintenance skulks around smoking cigarettes at all hours trying to intimidate tenants. Have seen maintenance staff doing donuts in golf cart on icy days in the parking lot. Only have access to the gym, clubhouse and laundry facilities during business hours. If I could give negative marks I would. ...

This apartment community is close to the UCCS campus, but it is not worth the cost whatsoever. The fellow tenants are often rude, loud, and disgustingly dirty- the entire hallway smells like pee and feces, vomit, garbage, mold etc 80% of the time...that smell, needless to say, seeps into one's own apartment as well. The office staff talks down to you like you have an IQ of 2 and they often are simply rude. I am glad I am no longer there! Look elsewhere!!! I rented from fall '07 through fall '08. ...
