Well, to put it nicely: I would rather blow off my head then to stay here when my lease is up! I have had nothing but problems with this place. The old management was pretty much worthless and the new is even worse -- dumber than a box of hair. First, my car was towed because the license plates were expired. Yes, to their credit I did have a warning sticker put on my window. I called and explained that I work long hours and would have to take a day off in order to go get it taken care of. I asked for another day so that I could do that. The next morning I woke up and my car was gone! So, after almost $200 for the tow bill I got my car back -- all over a 1" sticker! Hey, the good news is that if you have a broke down car it can sit here for eternity as long as you have updated plates. Yes, there are plenty of those here taking up valuable spaces. Second, the "maintenance" are a bunch of dolts! They have been to my place to "fix" my faucet in the kitchen 5 times now! God forbid you just replace the ghetto thing. They've spent more money in labor fixing a $10 faucet than I thought was logically possible. Then again, the management isn't too business savvy. Yes, it's still broken and still leaks. Not to mention the trips for the shower and faucet in the bathroom. What a bunch of cretins. I've had two outlets that are arcing that I have replaced myself. After seeing how these were wired and how the concept of a three-way switch was lost on them I figured it was safer that way. I was an electrician and plumber for years and this stuff isn't hard to do! Now, I can't wait to see how they "fix" my toilet. Last, they will do nothing about the noise above me! I have complained about this numerous times to no avail. They did give them a written warning which just made whomever more antagonistic! Read: when they are being noisy I pound on my ceiling and then they start stomping as hard as humanly possible. I've asked for a copy of my lease and "both" (I'm sure they never warned them again) copies of the warnings so that I can give them to my lawyer to look over. Nope, no luck there either. Other than that, most of the neighbors are respectful. Well, minus the parents who let their kids use the hallways for a playground. I urge you to run as far away from this hellhole as possible! I have already turned away five people from this place. Three fellow employees and two friends. Only one of these people would have rented a one bedroom and the rest two bedrooms. So, they are definitely losing business by not caring about the tenants. Oh, and they have yet to come and spray for roaches! That's how dirty and nasty people are around here. And, the laundry facility sucks. They have two washers and dryers for our whole building (all three floors). One dryer doesn't work and hasn't for months. This is an outside company that deals with these, but they haven't been out to fix it even after I called and told them it wasn't working. The laundry room also leaked into my apartment and it took them a about a week to come clean it. I had to sleep in my living room as the smell was too much to deal with. I also had to move everything to one side of my room and put up with that until it was cleaned. When my shower leaked they never did come and clean that. Oh, and you better not mind the sound of gunshots outside of your window and kids playing in the halls. Also, you better have 4wd for getting through the parking lot in the winter. No, they don't plow it. I rented from fall '06 through summer '07. ...
