University Village Apartments has fatly piping that keeps breaking and leaking. When the plumbing companies come they tell many tenants that the issue can be fixed but the apartment won't spend the money so they are making them do patch-up jobs perpetuating the problem. The lower apartments constantly leak from rain and pipes. The apartments claim they didn't have enough staff to help and tenants have to clean up the leaks themselves with no compensation. They also refused to replace carpeting and had tenants live with mold. The apartments claim to be pet friendly but do nothing to force tenants to clean up after their pets. There is feces in the building mashed into the carpets and a urine smell so strong outside of building 5362 that it makes people sick. There are animal feces all over the property and management claims they can do nothing about it. There is vomit trash and drug paraphernalia left in the hallways by tenants and homeless individuals who squat in the buildings and do drugs. Cars are broken into, and stolen, gas tanks drilled into on a daily basis. Management refuses to get cameras or upgrade security and people have been attacked. The heat is out in multiple building right now and the cooling goes out often. The water gets shut off three times a week at a minimum. Maintenance takes months to do the simplest tasks. The Apartment advertises a place that you will want to live and that every feature was designed with our well-being in mind. This is false. They do not compensate for any failings nor take responsibility for anything, claiming leaks as an "act of god". They price gouge when tenants move out. Yet, when I moved in, the apartment wasn't cleaned and many things were broken. This place is unsanitary and a danger to one's health and well-being. This is a slum. No accountability but they neglect everything asking tenants to take pictures of others breaking the rules and remove people from the building themselves because they cannot do anything. ...
