We saw some negative reviews about this place before renting about how the management sucked, and we addressed this to the management when checking out this place. They said those reviews were before this "new" management company took over. I don't know
what it was like with the old guys, but it's pretty bad still. We can NEVER EVER get anyone on the phone at the office when calling with a question or a problem. You have to drive or walk there everytime. Then good luck actually talking to someone when you get there! They usually only have 1 or 2 staff in the office and there's always a line of people. There's over 900 units here...not sure how only 1 or 2 people are supposed to handle that. Overall the complex is quiet and doesn't have any crazy people. There's only 1 tiny little spa in the whole complex which is always stuffed with people so don't get sold on that. The pool is good size though. Also, watch out for their 'great low priced rent' year long lease. It may seem cheaper than most in the area, but the paperwork they don't show you until you actually sign the lease says that the rent is discounted $500 from current market value (bull crap!) and if you choose to break the rent, you not only owe an extra months rent, but $500 for every month you've lived there and received that discount! So you're pretty screwed if you ever need to move. I know that's what a lease is, but that's a pretty sneaky one if I've ever seen one. Overall, I'm not renewing my lease, and I've spoken with many neighbors who feel the same so I don't think I'm oversensitive about it.
I rented from summer '08 through summer '09.
