i lived here a few years ago and absolutely hated it! my apartment was broken into by a neighbor (i only know cause his girlfriend had a heart and gave me my stuff when she found it) all my panties were stolen out of the community washer, my truck was broken into just so they could steal my parking sticker! my roomate had her car broken in at least twice a week. we lived next to drug dealers and crackheads. if i ever came home after 9pm i found myself having to park almost half a mile away. i was able to write a letter to the apartment lawyer to get out of my lease because it was an unsafe environment. I got the approval (i had to send in a few police reports) and when i moved the took my whole deposit! i left the place in really good condition, they had taked pictures of 10 hangers i left in the closet still packaged because i ddint need them and figured someone else could they charged me $250 to remove it. i left a bottle of katsup on the counter and that was $300 to remove and a tiny box outside the door that was another $300. then there was a stain on the carpet which was there when we moved in and they charged us $175. i ended up having to send them like $30. that place was insane i dont see how i lasted there for 6 months!!!! dont rent here! I rented from summer '03 through winter '04. ...

Living at coral bay is a nightmare and at times worse! Coral bay is noisy 24 hours a day. Coral bay is overpriced for what you get. The apartments are unbearably hot in the summer. I had to buy and run two AC units just so I could remain in the apartment for more than 30 minutes. Be careful about turning on the pilot light for the gas heating. The pilot light can easily explode and does. The management will claim any resulting accident will be your fault. I’ve seen this happen to a neighbor. Parking is a nightmare. My truck has been blocked in by cars the management will not tow away causing me to be late for work and other activities. This was happening on a weekly basis The management towed my truck away at 3:30 AM saying I didn’t have a coral bay parking sticker, although it was plainly visible on the windshield. This cost me $220.00 and a couple of hours to make sure it was not stolen. The office regularly loses rent checks or credits a rent payment to another apartment. Their (The office) attitude is it’s your problem until you can prove they made the mistake. Meanwhile, they will loudly threaten to evict you until the amount is paid with the late fee. The office regularly sends out random bills that become your problem to correct because they don’t make mistakes at coral bay. Cars are regularly broken into Electrical outlets have three-wire receptacles that accommodate electrical cords with three-prong plugs. The third prong provides a path to ground along which the electric current travels. This is to avoid electrical shock and fires. Most major appliances, such as stoves, refrigerators, and computers, have three-prong plugs, meaning they are grounded. In my apartment building on Cowley Way, Coral Bay didn’t upgrade the electrical wiring. Coral Bay just placed 3-prong covers over the electrical outlets to make it seem as if the electrical wiring was upgrade. This means someone living in my apartment building has a good chance of getting electrical shocks, having a fire, and burned up computer and Hifi equipment. Anything that goes wrong, coral bay management will make it your problem and will do everything possible to make you pay. Try Canyon Ridge next door - I’m moving there after my lease is up. I rented from fall '04 through spring '07. ...
