Perfect location for LMU students. Just minute away from the ocean, great shopping, and fun things to do. Very new and updated. Apartment units are spacious. I appreciate that playa del oro is dog friendly too.

I really like it for the most part! It has a dorm like feel to it because so many LMU students live here. If you're looking for that typical dorm life experience, this might be the next best thing if you cannot live in actual dorms. These apartments are definitely better than the on campus apartments as well. ...

I did not have any issues at Playa del Oro, I always felt safe and comfortable with neighbors and staff. I felt safe that security was at the front gate to manage the entrance. Utilities were kept clean and usable such as the pool, gym, and shared office space. ...

It was really nice to move out and try to get the “college experience” during covid and living in Playa Del Oro has been as close as I could get to that while staying safe. Many of the residents here are also students, however, it is harder to meet people here than it would have been in the dorms. Although, Playa Del Oro has been really good about making it mandatory for their residents to wear masks and follow covid guidelines so that people can still have a college experience in a pandemic. ...
