This manager, EDIE, is the most cold-hearted woman you'll ever meet. This woman is worse than a robot, has no feelings/emotions/response to any of your needs or requests. She is not willing to work with you nor help you when you are of no benefit to her. Stupid of us (newly moved in), we started with a 6 month lease. Afterwards we were contemplating between a 6 month or a month to month lease but decided on a 6 month lease. So, we asked the manager for a 6 month contract...and thinking she gave us the 6 month contract, we signed it and gave it back, only to find out that it was a 12 month lease that she gave us to sign (on purpose). She knew that we were good tenants and obviously she knew that we would not read the contract that she just gave for us to sign. When we confronted her about it, she said, "No, you wanted a 12 month lease. Oh well...what you signed is the 12 month so that's what you'll need to keep." There was no confusion in her voice, as if she was really worried for our sake that SHE GAVE US THE WRONG CONTRACT. She knew what contract she gave us to sign. It didn't matter that we REALLY didn't ask for that 12 month lease. So now we're stuck with this apartment for another 11 months and can't even move out. And Edie, knowing our distressful situation even failed to mention that we had a subletting option if we had to move. Another substitute manager, Sharon, not even knowing the rules of the contract, tole me that there was NO SUBLETTING ALLOWED. Edie only told us if we wanted to break contract we would just need to pay $1000 and then we could go. I had called her a couple times to see if she could give us any assistance with the situation, but she never mentioned the subletting option. I would like to describe her as many foul language descriptions, but I will just let the repercussions of this rating hit her in the rear. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH A DECEPTIVE, HEARTLESS PERSON AS A MANAGER! I rented from summer '06 through summer '07. ...
