I loved living at the Cedar's! I didn't even have to get on the freeway to drive to school. The nightlife was great with over a half dozen pubs/bars/clubs I could walk to. And then I could run off my beer belly on the Los Gatos Creek Trail. The studio was extra roomy with a huge walk in closet. (I put my bed in there and used it like a bedroom.) The manager was great. Just don't ignore him if you get behind on rent. He is reasonable and will work with him if you aren't trying to avoid him. I guess I learned the hard way and was surprised that he wasn't all angry with me when he finally caught me driving off the property. He set up a fair repayment plan and I got caught up in a couple months. That sure beat getting kicked out. If I had to live in Campbell again I would definitely be back at the Cedar's but I transferred to Berkeley. In the summer the manager let me move to a downstairs unit by the pool. Barbeques with friends on my private patio and the pool right there made the summer of '05 my "Summer of 69!" Btw, I miss my neighbors. I rented from winter '05 through fall '05. ...
