I am writing this review to ward off future tenants living in this apartment from 2019-2021. I’m not here to bash on the Buchanan Property. I just simply want to warn off people who are planning to live here. The quality of my living situation is unacceptable. I do not feel safe living here. Below is the list of issues I have had since living here in 2019. 1) Homeless people can find their way inside the BLDG. They can sneak in due to poor security and lackluster fence around the bldg. This BLDG is located near Salvation Army Store only; if I knew how bad the homeless people situation here, I would look elsewhere. 2) Old and poor maintenance on bldg. The washing machine has been eating my fucking quarters for the last two years. It’s so bad I have contacted and repeatedly requested care for these two shitty washers and dryers for ALL the 16 units that are having the issue. It has been two years, and I accept defeat. 3) Electrical Issues! Be advised your electrical outlet is connected to other apartments. There is a high chance you are sharing it with the other three units. Meaning if you tripped your breaker, you wouldn’t be able to reset it until following the following business days. Say goodbye to your weekends. 4) Cockroaches and Mice! Yes! This BLDG is OLD. There is a chance you could be living with unwanted roommates. See photo with the review. 5) Stolen packages. Oh! Where do I begin? This has gotten so bad that I had to fight Buchanan Property to force them to install a camera and better mailbox! I have lost 1000 USD stolen goods from homeless people just walking and sketchy neighbors. Finally, I would strongly advise another location. Parking here has been a nightmare, especially with all the construction going on in this area. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the time frame for requesting maintenance is acceptable except for the laundry situation. To top this off they increased my rent after failing to renew the lease on timely manner. This has BAD MANAGEMENT WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. ...
