We have lived here for 3, almost 4 years now and the place has just gone down hill. When we first moved in the company who owned just bought it and they were making an honest effort to renovate and make the place nice. Since then, the property has been bought and sold a few times, each time the place gets less and less attention. It's an older property so I do expect it to be perfect, but let me give a few highlights. First off, cockroachs are out of control. I mean, extremely infested. We don't keep trash or leave food out but there are allways roaches crawling on the walls, counters, ceilings, in every room, all the damn time. They're in the halls, on the walkways, in the landscaping. They have pest control out from time to time and once or twice a year they "treat" every apartment, but the place is so infested I think it needs to be tented. Fucking disgusting. Second, the plumbing is allways an issue. Every other day they have to shut the water off to make some kind if repair. The walls and floors are torn up everyday to access and repair something. Again, it's an older place but for what we pay we shouldn't have these issues. I'm on the 3rd floor, so luckily I haven't had the same issues I've seen on the first floor, but we still have issues. IE the shower doesn't drain. Third, the security is a joke. My car has been hit twice, broken into twice, and last night had the tires slashed. Im not special, everyones car gets vandalised at some point here. Broken windows, stolen wheels, every week someones car gets messed with. Management doesn't give a shit. Every night there's sketchy characters drinking in the parking lot doing God knows what. Homeles people bathing in the hot tub (when the pool is actually open) people shitting and pissing in the stairwells. Again for what we pay every month I would expect to actually see a security guard at all times to prevent all this. I've given up on talking to magnagement staff, as I mentioned they don't care. I will say, however, the maintenance crew is super friendly and helpful. Anytime we've had an issue with the apartment itself the repair person has come promptly and made repairs right away. Other than that, this place sucks. I could go on and on about the leaking roof, the noisy A/C units, the washing machines being broken and destroying our clothes, but I'll stop here.
