It's 100 paces from a Target shopping center and 50 paces from a gas station. The apartments are wonderfully spacious. The management and landscaping teams are great. There are no standards, however, for smoking. I was surrounded by smokers, which made breathing difficult and there isn't a non-smoking building because that's "discriminatory." There are also no standards for parking. Each apartment gets a reserved covered-parking spot, and all uncovered parking is "open." Unfortunately, for some "neighbors," this means please park your broken, mobile storage van with broken locks in front of the complex to increase the chance of theft in the area. This also means, please park your inoperable vehicle for months because this is a junkyard. The complex is located on the border of LaVerne and Pomona, but renters pay LaVerne prices.
