This used to be a really nice and safe place to live, with great managers, but not anymore. The only positive reviews you will read are most likely the ones posted by either this manager herself, or one of several family members who live in multiple
units here and who have better amenities and more parking spaces than everyone else. Here is what you can expect if you do choose to move in...
*You will get the maximum rent increase every year, with a late fee of 10%.
*You are also responsible for water, trash, sewage, and renter's insurance on top of SDG&E and internet. If you misplace your gate clicker you will get charged either $75 or $150 depending on if she likes you or not. Expect favoritism.
*You will get constant notices left on your door telling you what you can and cannot do, including what you can and can't have on your own balcony. However, you will not get a notice informing you that you will be experiencing loud remodeling noise everyday (including Saturday) for 3 + weeks, or that they will be using toxic chemicals that will come through your vents making it so you have to leave your apartment until it airs out.
*The gates on both ends are always broken, sometimes for months at a time, so it is only a gated community when the gates actually work.
*People drive in the gate blaring loud music at all hours, including after midnight and throughout the early morning hours.
*You will regularly hear firecrackers, usually M80s that sound like a shotgun blast at all hours of the night and will wake you from a sound sleep and scare you and your pets.
*If you go out after dusk, watch out for roaches especially near the small laundry room. They are hiding the rat traps in the bushes so no one will see that there is a rat problem too.
*Having guests between 6:00pm and 9:00am or on weekends? Get them a Guest parking pass because without it the car will be towed. Street parking is terrible.
*Gardeners blow dirt all over cars and everywhere else which also creates a lot of dust in the apartments.
*No insulation-you can hear almost everything through the walls.
*Have a noisy neighbor and it is interrupting your sleep or well-being? Reporting it to the manager does nothing. She will tell you to call the sheriffs because she doesn't care and most times will ignore your call or message if you try to report anything to her.
*If you want to use the pool room, you will need to put down a $150.00 deposit first.
