I moved into Lewis Apartments because it was the only complex in town with a month to month lease. I was happy with the unit at first but soon began to notice major issues. Every time one of my neighbors turned on their water the sound was deafening. The shower in my unit was a nightmare, the water would never stay at a consistent temperature. Large amounts of mold started to grow in my bedroom and both the sinks and tub in the unit were very slow to drain. When I began to complain about my problems to Vega Investments (The office that managed the property)I was treated like a nuisance and frankly like a child. When maintenance finally arrived they would only temporarily fix my issues(paint over mold, liquid plumber down the drains, etc). Overall I felt like i was just being brushed aside along with all the other tenants issues. I eventually moved out with a very sour taste in my mouth. If your thinking of moving in to Lewis Apartments because of the convenience of its month to month lease I recommend you hold out for something that is actually livable. I rented from spring '09 through winter 10. ...

Lewis Apartments is owned by a company called Vega Investments. They don't keep up with the apartments and the women in the office are rude. We had to call at least 3 times for any kind of maintenance issue before they would send someone out. Once there was water pouring out of our bathroom light fixture from the bathtub in the apartment upstairs but maintenance never replaced our light fixture. We were told this had happened before but still maintenance hadn't sealed the tub properly to prevent it from happening again. Also, it took 2 and half months to get a key for our deadbolt. We called repeatedly about a getting a screen for our window but never received one. Two weeks before we moved out we found black mold growing behind a piece of furniture. We called multiple times but no one was ever sent to take a look at it. We moved out after 4 and a half months because we couldn't handle all the issues with the apartment and the lack of respect from the staff. The apartment is over priced for having so many maintenance issues. I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone. I rented from winter 10 through fall 10. ...
