Unfortunately we did not research this building or neighborhood before moving in, now we are stuck for another half a year with the sounds of constant sirens, police activity on the property blocking our ability to enter and exit the building. We have seen the SWAT team twice here in the past 3 months. Every other night there is an ambulance or fire truck that wakes us up. There is a great deal of gang and drug related activity going on in the court yard and the laundry rooms. Down the street one block is where the girl was murdered and house burned down on their rehearsal dinner night. Across the street from that is a restaurant where there was a massacre last year of four or five family members having a dinner. Please stay away. Aside from the usual building maintenance problems of apartments in LA, the crime alone makes this building no place for children or anyone for that matter.
