When I first moved in, the apartment did not have a deadbolt, and they didn't put one in until after I asked to have my lease terminated. The building was not safe, easy for anyone to break into the complex as well as the apartment. Even if safety is not a concern, the landlord is dishonest, rude, and disrespectful to women.
