I have rented these apartments for the past 8 months. My family moved up here from San Francisco, CA and we noticed a bigger "uncontrolled" drug problem just in our apartment complex than anywhere in the bay area. From the top, my air conditioning has not been fixed for the entire 8 months we have been here. The "manager" of the property "Lisa" told me that it cant be fixed because I chose an apartment with vaulted ceilings!!! My neighbors have smoked drugs on their patio, have had the cops called on them many times. Manager Lisa told me that they were going to be given notice, 4 months later they are still here. My husband has had to personally fix the door, the garbage disposal, and the dishwasher because they kept breaking. Dont bother asking for functioning appliances-apparantly that is too much to ask for. Good luck trying to contact upper management or Lisa's manager or Pacific Capital Management in general. If you do finally get in contact with someone they dont seem to be that interested in what their tenants have to say nor do they display a desire to fix the problem. I have done just that and have continuously been referred back to manager Lisa, who was the problem to begin with. I hate to get personal or nasty but If it is the truth then I will say it. Since this has started, I have asked other tenants around the property about Pacific Capital Management and they informed me that manager Lisa has a tendancy to sleep with the tenants and her co-workers. Maybe that is why I keep getting the run around when attempting to make a complaint about how things are being handled. I have found Pacific Capital Management to be very unprofessional in their buisiness dealings, unavailable to their tenants concerns making them virtually voluntarily un-aware of how their properties are being run. Nevertheless, we have had enough of Sierra Ridge apartments, we are moving back to the bay area as soon as possible. Good Luck if you choose this property as your place of residence. Maybe if we all share our expirience than we might get some much needed attention and professionalism by Pacific Capital Management.
