Overall I enjoyed living at Plum Tree Apartments while attending DVC. It was a very short commute to the Pleasant Hill campus, and the rent was affordable enough if sharing with a roommate. There were plenty of restaurants, gas stations, and grocery options nearby, and the charming downtown Martinez was not a far drive away either.
