Nice condo complex. I believe most of them are privately owned, but many of them are rented out and centrally managed. Condo was nice and was a good deal. We had a couple maintenance issues, but they were pretty good about fixing things within a few days. Even though we're clean people, we also had a few pest control issues (cockroaches). My main disappointment was how they handled our security deposit. We spent a lot of time ensuring things were spotless before we left (much, much better than we found it), and were then charged hundreds of dollars for unnecessary cleaning. The property manager (Jason Belcher) told us we'd only have to pay $75 for carpet cleaning, which we were fine with--even though it obviously hadn't been done before we moved in. We later found out that he didn't even inspect the apartment and just took the recommendation of the cleaning company for what "needed" to be done. (Obviously, they ran up the bill.) To put things in perspective, we were charged $25 to clean a $5 shower curtain liner. Sure, that part wasn't spotless, but it wasn't provided with the apartment. We left it as a gift for the next tenants so that they could use the shower when they arrived. Of course, no good deed goes unpunished. After weeks and weeks of back and forth, the property manager was rude, uncompromising, and unprofessional. The owner of the property did not even return any of my phone calls. We enjoyed living there, but I'm happy to no longer be dealing with them. ...
