I haven't lived at Bonnie Terrace, but I visited the complex and talked to the manager. A very nice and honest person, the manager told me that the complex was built around 1970, with thin walls and single-pane windows. I was looking at an apartment with a window to Gail Ave.. When I asked about noise, he also said: "There's a school across the street and around 8am parents drop off their kids; fire trucks (we are between two fire stations); planes going to Moffett Field fly right above us; the floor is thin and you can hear people below walking around; the Safeway delivery trucks pass by; police patrol at night on the street." and "It's safer to park on the street because police patrols often. There is a car break-in about once in 6 months" The apartment looked OK, and the rent was $1050 month-to-month. I really liked the manager and I would have stayed there in appreciation for the honesty, but I was looking for a quiet place. If you don't mind noise and want an inexpensive but nice apartment, I recommend Bonnie Terrace. I rented from spring '07 through spring '07. ...
