I have lived in several aprtments and this one by far takes the rotten slice of cake. My year lease is up in December, and I WILL NOT be renewing my lease. When my friends mention apartment hunting, I tell them to run far FAR away from mine. Yes, it looks sort of nice. They just got the winter grass planted again so it no longer looks like a waste land, but it by no means is enough to keep me here a day longer than I have to. Safe environment? No. My car has been keyed several times along with many other cars. Some kids have been going around shoving nails in tires. A man has come up to me and licked, yes you read right, LICKED my face while I was checkin my mail and unnaware of his approach. My car battery died and I was seraching through my glove box looking for my warranty papers when two guys who were clearly on something came up and was "hollerin" at me and when I shut and locked my door out of annoyance they ran up to my car and started punching my windows yelling while my neighbor watched on. Security?? what security? Yeah I've seen em around but theyre so scrawny and nerdy looking I'm sure they couldnt hurt a fly. Besides, all they do is ride their bikes around at night day dreaming. The people in the office are complete imbociles. When I reported all of this each time all they did was laugh and say "I guess we're not getting the fence up fast enough!" ha. ha. I have been battling with them over a roach problem almost a year now. I don't even have a single crumb of food in my house. I threw it all away months ago. I've suposively been sprayed 4 times, although I've only witnessed the one spraying, and before he left I had to stop him and walk through the apartment showing him where to spray because he spent a whole 4 minutes doing a sucky job. The people down stairs have at least 8 people living in their one bedroom apartment. And their 2 year old girl dumps food and milk and soda and juice EVERYWHERE outside. It smelled like sour milk for weeks. I'll come home and there with be bologna sitting on the stairs. They'll leave their bag of trash outside their door for days. I've tried talking to them however, they don't speak english. How convienent. I've reported them to the office several times but got the old "haha we'll let them know." I could be wrong but maybe THATS the source of the roaches???? I finally got them to put me on the list to be bombed. Asked them what I needed to do. All they said was take your clothes out of the closet and leave your cabinets open. If you have pets theyll need to stay out all day. I had school and I didn't have anywhere to put my cats so I rented a hotel room and had to pay for 2 days because I didn't get out of school until 4 30 and check out time is 12 pm. Well I get a call from my step mom saying that they didn't bomb because I didn't prepare correctly. I call them and ask them what the deal is and they said the bug man wouldn'y do it b/c I didnt follow the directions on the sheet. What sheet? Ha, the sheet they neglected to give me. They refuse to pay my hotel bill even though it was their fault. I schedule to be bombed the following week. And this time I have to skip school to make sure they do it. How sad is that? So I wait and wait and the bug guy never shows up. So I call the office, "oh, um, well, um he'll be there soon hes still on the grounds. click." Bug man shows up and low and behold "Hey yeah your name wasn't even on the list to be bombed. I had already finished and left and I had to come back to do your apt. Yeah the people in the office don't seem to have their crap together." 2 months later, I still have roaches. I finally got the guts to buy some bread and sandwhich meat to leave in the refridgerator. I just went to make some toast and about 4 huge roaches crawled out of my toaster after I turned it on. There is SO much more but I am going to be late for my doctor's appt. For some odd reason, I can't figure it out, but I keep getting sick.. I wonder why. Hmmm. I rented from winter '06 through winter '07. ...
