Pretty good experience overall. The quality of the place was good. As it is across the street from a university, it is highly populated by students (but you can find non-students as well). We had an issue where the door was a bit hard to open--the
maintenance staff came a couple of times to fix it, but there were still problems (or a different problem) afterwards. Gated community. Not a bad place for sure.

San Prado is a pretty area, with a nice neighborhood. They have nice buildings, the rooms are in pretty good shape, maintenance has been pretty decent, we haven't had to deal with much noise (except for the leaf blowers that come on usually Monday
morning), the people seem friendly, and it's got a nice collection of students, couples, families, etc. There's a park just down the street that is absolutely beautiful. The area seems safe enough to go for a jog in the morning. There's both schools and universities all piled in the neighborhood or nearby, so lots of students. San Prado is a little bit more on the expensive side. It's not bad though if you find a roommate and share a two-bedroom. There's plenty of space that way, very comfortable.

Great place to live. Very safe and quiet and beautiful apartments. Rent is expensive though. You definitely get what you pay for, but not for the thrifty spender.
I rented from summer '05 through summer '07.
