We have had a nice stay at this apartment building so far. The neighbors are nice and the neighborhood is quiet and good for strolling. Our maintenance requests have been taken care of in a timely way. My only complaint is the way in (the alley is pretty jacked up, potholes galore.) Downstairs does get a bit cold in the winter. ...

I do no recommend this building, or leasing from the Beztek company that now owns the slum lord title and collection of buildings in this area. The building has been neglected harshly until recently when myself and maybe 3 other tenants were the only occupants. At this time I'm guessing they treated every other apartment for black mold. I think they've just painted over the spores 20 times and called it a day. But they changed the lights in the parking area! Glad they did that. Good luck getting any maintenance requests through in a timely manor. Our shower was leaking through our bedroom wall for 2 weeks before they sent someone over to fix it. I had to physically go in to the office to ask them why they hadn't sent someone over to fix the issue. Every door in the building has about 30 coats of paint so they don't close very well. Including the laundry room door that is also the bike storage. Had about $500 worth stollen from me in bike parts a few weeks ago. The tenant next door to us smokes cigarettes 24/7 in their apartment and we've brought this to their attention since September 12th, 2024. It is now December 2nd and nothing has been done. Even though the leasing agreement clearly states that it is against the terms of our lease to smoke in the apartments. We have a blowup mattress in our living room for when the smell of cigarettes is too harsh in the bedroom. I was told our prior complains didn't carry over in the switch of building ownership so they had to start over. So I let them know via email anytime it was happening so there was record of me reaching out about it. They have now blocked my email address from contacting them which I think is ridiculously childish and unprofessional. I would not have signed another lease with this company if I had known what I know now. I would love to not give my money to this company. The rent is cheap for a reason. Do yourself a favor and pay an extra $200 a month somewhere else. If you're curious of what their other properties are, I would gladly help you stray away from them.
