Clean, no bugs, nice property managers (who's office is close by) and good location. 3-10 min walk to darn near anywhere on campus, 3-5min to get to the library and commons. Rent is $890, only thing else to pay is electric and inet, both cost me about $50 each, so total rent is right about $990/month. Parking is a one time $25 fee you pay to the city at city hall, and then you can park ANYWHERE on ANY street in zone 1 ANY day for an entire year. $25 for the year for that much available parking is the best I've ever had for parking in the city, it's been very nice. Never had to fight for a spot and have always found somewhere to park in easy walking distance to the apartment. Also lots of windows so always lots of natural light in the apt.

The photos show a few of my things that were still being moved, wanted to get photos before night time and before I left the city - sorry! Imagine the photos but with nothing on the floor and none of the little furniture bits - will be completely unfurnished and you'll need to bring your own router/modem for inet. I got my modem for 60 bucks online (for comcast), and then got a router for $30 on amazon, have lasted me for about 2 years each without having to rent from comcast. Inet speeds good, no complaints (I work in networking so can trust me on this one). If you want my modem and router can negotiate leaving those behind!

Other fees - Since this is NOT a sublet (you'd be drafted into a lease with Metro Properties that lasts from move in - June 30th), Metro only requires a you to have enough for a security deposit and first months rent, I believe. There is also an application to fill out, with an attached 35$ application fee. This place is also available to renew the lease (1 year renewal ONLY - as per Metro) but you need to decide that with Metro fairly soon after you move in (just let them know if you'd like to extend the lease for another year, then it's all yours till 2023).

Looking to move someone in ASAP as I've had to move back to Williamsburg, VA for a personal emergency and just can't stay in the city until my lease is up. My lease ends June 30th, 2022 WILL NOT BE RENEWING so AGAIN, the place is all yours after if you like it!

There is no elevator, 2 flights of stairs can be kind of a pain for moving in. I'd be more than happy to help you move your things in whenever we set a move in date! Appliances are all very new and have worked well, also maintenance has been great and come within a day or two with no fee to you. Neighbors are quiet, have had zero loud disturbances since I've been there. Walls are thick enough, and living on the third floor means no upstairs neighbors to worry about. Central air has been nice, ac and heat work year round if you want it.
