I lived here starting in Fall 2012. Carriage Cove has really nice apartments, and everyone has private rooms. Cleaning checks are a bit tough, but they're only 3x a year (once a semester) and that's the reason the apartments are in such great shape. Parking is never a problem. Ever. People tend to be most social at the beginning of semesters, but there's always people in the hot tub or playing volleyball. The landlords are also really nice as long as you're reasonable. They helped me a lot when I had a conflict with someone I was moving in with. They send us reminders about rent, throw a lot of fun activities, and even drop off cookies at each apartment around Christmas time. I'm very satisfied with my time here. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

Great location if you attend UVU. Apartment was spotless, nice people. Hottub sucked. Doesn't work. Not as social as I would have liked it to be but good enough. Lots of students attend UVU. Private room was spacious and I loved it! Tons of room. The apartment was very spacious and nice set up. All in all I give it about a 8 out of 10. I rented from winter 11 through spring 11. ...

Carriage Cove isn't paradise in Provo, but I really liked it. All of the rooms are private, and it's nearly impossible to find a better rate. My rent was $325/month, but it's closer to $280 if you have a year-long contract. Also, the apartment's are really nice--if there is anything wrong, you tell management and they fix it quick. And you never run out of parking. Ever. So nice. I guess other people have had bad experiences with management, but I liked them a lot. They were quick, they knew my name, and they tried to accommodate me. I don't know many complexes where they e-mail everyone on the second of the month reminding you about upcoming activities and to pay your rent. It's not a party complex, but I still had a bunch of friends from the ward that I knew. It's a nice place, and there were usually activities going on somewhere. It is a bit farther from BYU, so most people have a car. Overall, I really liked this place. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

I loved living here. Reasonable pricing, great, office management, very clean and loved having my own bedroom and vanity. Read your contract.. there are no shady parts. what you sign up for is what you get. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone! I rented from fall '06 through summer 11. ...

The administration sucks and will bleed you dry. I honestly believe the administrator pockets the fees. They charge for everything under the moon and we all have seperate contracts . I was charged $95 fee and 35 cleaning fee because other roomates didnt remove their items. I asked them about it and the administrator said, " there was stuff there and we didnt know who to charge so we charged everyone" they act like they are doing favors to everyone and the tentants pay rent. I can only take my belongings not that of an assigned roomate who you dont know or even talk to due to school and work life. You have to beg to have repairs done my door was broken a year. Parking they wait until 1 min after to tow your car ...

The only good thing about this place is the apartment quality and the private rooms. The social life sucks and the management is ridiculous. I paid #320/mo, but they slap on parking fees ($25/semester) and internet fees ($12/mo), so it's not that great of a deal. They tow right at 9, so forget about friends coming over... And cleaning checks are RIDICULOUS!!! I accidently left one thing dusty and the landlord failed my WHOLE cleaning check, then charged me so she could dust that one thing. TOTAL ripoff. I'm glad I'm leaving for the summer, because this place is a ripoff. Unless you move in with friends, it's lame to live here. I rented from winter 11 through winter 11. ...

Honestly, I love Carriage Cove so much. I was saddened to read some of the negative comments. The apartments are decent (especially compared to some of the other housing near BYU) and the private rooms are a great factor. 2 showers/toilets and a private vanity for each tenant also makes it worthwhile. Granted, the cleaning checks are rather ridiculous, and it is hard to pass (though...I have passed my cleaning checks 2 out of the 3 times I have lived here...PLUS if you are around when they clean, you can manage to fix something without getting charged.) The year round hot tub is great as well as the seasonal pool (that is heated, mind you, during the cold beginning of spring!) is a lot of fun and a lot of people hang around there. You can meet some great people there. My ward has honestly been one of the best wards I have ever been apart of. It is extremely social....There seems to be always something going on...The bishopric is absolutely outstanding and fabulous and the people are just so great. I really can't say enough great things about my ward and about my experience thus far at Carriage Cove. I have lived here a year and just signed another year contract! I would recommend it to anyone! P.S. The 277 I pay a month is for a year round contract, just FYI. I rented from spring 10 through spring 11. ...

The management is DISHONEST. They will tell you anything to get you to sign a contract. They charge you fifty dollars a month out of your deposit for "wear and tear" on your apartment, and no one ever passes their cleaning checks. They also come up with random charges that everyone has to pay, like repaving the parking lot, which should be part of their cost of business. When I checked out, the manager didn't show up for my scheduled check out time, and I had to go out to work, later I went back to the office and she lied and said that she was there on time and I wasn't and that she failed me because I wasn't there. I got less than half of my deposit back and I was only there a semester. A lot of people move there to be "forgotten", and the ward isn't very social. This place should lose their BYU contract, with all of the stuff going on with tenants and the dishonest management. Parking is atrocious, the spots are tiny and if you have a friend over, they will have to park at least a block away, if they can find a place to park, or they will get towed at nine, and they skip booting. I rented from fall '09 through fall '09. ...

Spacious, private rooms. Unless you move in with friends, there's little social life, if you don't get a parking permit they tow you at the stroke of 9 pm. I rented from summer '08 through spring 10.

Great Place to live. Very social around the pool and volleyball court. They do have tough cleaning checks but even if you fail you will only have to pay a small fee if you cleaned somewhat. I rented from spring '09 through winter 10.

The apartments and facilities are pretty nice and the price isn't bad at all for a private room. That's about all that's nice about this place. My ward was very cliquish and only the ones that had been there a long time got callings, home teaching assignments, etc. The bishopric never talked to me or my roommates once in the four months we lived there and we were active. Cleaning checks are impossible to pass and they charge a ton if you don't pass. Rooms are not the same size and they assign them on a first come first serve basis. Mine was the smallest and about 75% the size of the biggest, yet I had to pay the same rent he did. Parking stalls are super small. Management is never cooperative and will charge you for anything they can. I rented from spring '09 through summer '09. ...

If the landlord makes a mistake charging you more than you really owe... she will lie about the mistake and force you to pay, and lie some more to try and cover her tracks! She did it to me and will probably do it again. I wouldn't recomend living there until there is a change in management. She is NOT accomodating to students at all. Also never expect to pass a clean check. You will end up paying an additional $10-50 each month for the failures. No matter how hard you clean you fail. The ward is a good ward, but pretty clickish and not extremely social. I moved away to try and find a more active ward since many people don't want to go to church there. When I moved into the apartment we had mold growing in the bathroom where the shower leaked. Though I told them a few times about it they never fixed it. They changed locks on us once, and my apartment ended up with master keys. It took them nearly 7 weeks to fix it. Made me worried if they've made that type of mistake before and other less honest people had master keys as well. Good luck finding parking if you come back late. I was in a community leage and came back late often and ended up having to park in the street. Far from colleges. It is about a 10-15 minute bus ride. Frigid waiting in for the bus. Huge pain when you miss the bus by 1 minute. They come every 15-30 minutes. I rented from fall '07 through fall '08. ...

Really a great place to stay in for a private room. High-speed internet through Comcast is provided along with cable and a telephone line for $10/month per tenant. Not a bad deal really. I would second the comments that I've read already - comments on social life, parking, and bang for the buck are about right. I rented from spring '06 through winter '08. ...

The apartment is great for the price. The wards are OK, but a little less social (and inactive) than I would like. Good facilities. Has a pool, hot tub, volleyball court. I usually don't have a hard time parking, but visitors that park after 9 will be booted or towed. :( The complex is little more on the nickel and diming you side of things, but it isn't too unreasonable.
