This Northwest Lodge style home includes a beautiful juniper staircase,
two fireplaces for ambiance, a sauna to relax in after a day enjoying
the Central Oregon outdoors, and unique art from famous Mid Century
wildlife artists. The owner hopes you will enjoy the somewhat Mid
Century decor including custom light fixtures, Ethan Allen, Stickley,
and Henredon furnishings and even Mid Century dishes for fun. The
light filled reverse floor plan with the kitchen, living room, primary
bedroom (with king bed), and an expansive deck upstairs allows for maximum
views of wildlife and the surrounding environment including an Aspen
grove, several massive junipers, as well as the mountains, pasture, and pond.
You won't want to leave the house.

Downstairs there are 3 more bedrooms: the large "Deer" bedroom includes
a queen bed and French doors leading out to the covered deck beside the
Aspen grove; the "Bear" bedroom includes a full bed and a large window
to view the backyard and rock fence; the "Critter" bedroom includes the
Stickley queen bed and views of the backyard. The mattresses are
memory foam for a guaranteed peaceful night's sleep among the wildlife.

The newly renovated bathrooms include a tiled walk-in shower in the
primary with double vanities and a sauna. The main bathroom includes
a large tiled walk-in shower with a freestanding soaker tub. All two
and a half baths further the wildlife theme, of course.

An oversized two-car garage keeps your car out of the cold or heat, and
a new washer and dryer make washing your dirty clothes light work.
There is even a built-in ironing board for convenience.

If you enjoy a little Mid Century fun, you can play Croquet, Bocce ball,
Badminton, or Cornhole in the backyard, and there is always chess,
checkers and board games indoors when the weather is chilly. Of course,
you can always curl up with a book in front of one of the two fireplaces
or watch television if you are tired from your outdoor activities, and a
few friendly bears will keep you company.

*Occasionally a very pleasant person will occupy the ADU on the property
to make certain all is well with the pasture irrigation, the pond is
full of water so the bass are happy, and the squirrels, birds, and
chipmunks have some treats available to help them make it through the
winter.
