UNIQUE SITUATION: I have a very nice, empty living space in my daylight basement. I also have an immediate need for a part-time caregiver for 4 evenings per week. I just need someone to help my primary caregiver for 1 hour with my evening routine, which includes transferring me from my wheelchair to bed using a Hoyer lift, range of motion exercises on my arms and legs, brushing my teeth and washing my face.

So, I would like to barter.

The full rent is $920 per month. In exchange for helping me 4 evenings per week, (you would be working 4 hours/week at $20/hour, which = $320/month), you would only pay $600/month.

Renting the apartment without working 4 evenings (full amount of $920) is not an option.

The living space is comprised of 1 bedroom, a large closet, a full bathroom with shower/tub. There is a small kitchen with a sink, stove, microwave, toaster and an apartment sized refrigerator.

Washer and dryer are all hooked up and ready to go.

All utilities are included.
High speed internet access is free.
Parking is available for 1 vehicle in my driveway.
Private entrance.
Newly renovated.

Must be a mature, responsible, dependable person.

I am a 57 year old man and I'm paralyzed from the neck down.
