This room is available from early August. If interested please write a personal message. We are looking for a quiet student or single professional to rent the primary bedroom in the back of our house. It is furnished with a queen bed, dresser, office desk and chair, a new mini fridge with separate freezer compartment, and a new microwave. The room includes a large bathroom with a tub, shower stall, toilet, and walk-in closet with ample storage.

The room is accessed via a private side entrance. You can use the seating on the back deck, and there is a shed for a bicycle. Some street parking is available if you have a car. There is access to our washer and dryer, but there is not regular kitchen access. We are open to occasional use of the kitchen, with advance notice. Water, electricity, and high-speed internet are included in the rent.

We are a married couple, Maarten, a professor, and Ann, a high school teacher. We are friendly, tidy and quiet. If you have a party mindset, please consider other options. Non-smokers only. Pets are not allowed, as we already have plenty: our dogs, Felix and Lucy, and our cats, Berta and Esther. The dogs stay in the front part of the house, which is separated from the back of the house by both an interior door and an indoor dog gate.

Our house is located on a quiet street, 4 blocks from Freret Street, within walking distance of a Rouses supermarket, bakeries, coffeeshops, restaurants, etc. It is a 10-15 minute walk to Tulane University.
