Decent place, could be nicer. Only really liked the location.. over priced though. Tight parking. I rented from winter 2018 through winter 2018.

I did live here from Fall 2013 and spring 2014, was gone for mission, then back for the one semester before transferring to UT campus. This is close to campus south side. A bit far to walk to the nearest grocery store (2 miles round trip). There is a washer/dryer in each apt. the rooms are small with 1 desk and 1 small dresser and closet to share. I had to live out of my suitcases, boxes and the closet space. Sharing the desk was a pain, there is no room for a second one. Pin holes are allowed to hang things on the walls. The AC for the warm weather was a window unit, which made it impossible to open the window for natural breezes to flow in. There is only 1 fridge and things get crowded in it. The social life is as good as you make it. The computer room and printers were nice to have when needing to print. Management was good and worked with us when needed. I rented from spring 2016 through spring 2016. ...

My time at BYU-I was amazing! Not only did I have great professors and learning experiences but I lived in the best apartment complex that there is in Rexburg, Idaho. The managers are so sweet, caring, loving, easy to get along, etc. I am so grateful to have lived in Colonial House for FOUR semesters because I had great roommates and great managers that made me feel like I was part of their family. I rented from winter 2015 through winter 2016. ...

This is my second semester at Colonial, and honestly, I'm only here a second time because I didn't want to pay the $85 to cancel my contract (even though they supposedly had a waiting list, so why it would cost me money, I don't know). THE GOOD: The price is on the lower end, for apartments here. There's a free washer and dryer in each apartment, and AC gets installed in the summer. The parking is free (for you and guests). The apartments have good internet, lifted beds for extra storage space, and are very close to campus. The lounge has a piano room, jacuzzi, and exercise room, and there's a computer room for your use (.05 to print). THE BAD: If you make a room request on your contract, you need to pester the manager, or else it will be ignored. You had better hope you never need something fixed quickly, because it won't be. The bedrooms are TINY, with not much space for you and your roommate to move around (if you go on a tour of the apartment, DO NOT BE FOOLED; the manager will show you the front bedroom of a handicap apartment, which is about three times larger than any of the others). In your room, there is only one desk to share between you and your roommate. When it comes to white-glove cleaning at the end of the semester, you WILL GET FINED. I cleaned for four hours, and I got charged cleaning fees. In all of my time here, at all of the apartments where I stayed, that has never before happened to me. The managers are all older adults (as opposed to a lot of places where they're in their 20s), which is a nice change, but they will treat you like a child. Because of its location, the complex has younger students, which can be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...

I loved living here! I have lived in two other apartments and the wards here are by far the best I have had. There is always something going on. The internet wasn't the best when I first moved in but I am pretty sure they have upgraded it so it works fine now. I rented from winter 10 through fall 10. ...

This complex is a little pricy, but that is becase it is in great condition. Most things are clean and new. All untilities, including cable are included. In the summer, air conditioning is optional for extra. It is 550 in the summer and 1,095 in the winter. The deposit is 125, 75 of that is refundable. It has a hot tub, piano room, small gym, computer room, and a lounge available to all students. Usually the appliances run great, but if you do need something fixed, prepare for a run around. Usually this is not a problem though. There are six girls in a 3 bed, 2 bath. The bathrooms, shower/toliet are seperated from the vanity area, accomidating more girls. The vanity area is fairly spacious. Each room includes two beds, one desk, one dresser and a closet. Often extra storage space will be needed. (But thats what cinder blocks are for : )! ) Laundry is coin-operated,located at the end on the bottom floor of each end. It is the standard price, 1.00/load to wash .50 to dry (although will not dry completely in one cycle, will need two). I can't sat this for all the apartments for sure, but I found the social life to be excellent. We constantly would have neighbors, members of the ward, RAs, and others come to visit and meet us. We got to know those surrounding us very well and often were invited to their apartments, and often had them over at ours. We even had quite a few boys over to come and meet us! I rented from winter '08 through summer '08. ...
