My wife and I are currently looking for one housemate with whom to share our house in Kailua. We have one room that will be available September 1. The room is a little more than 10' by 9' and has its own private bathroom. The rent is $900 per month. Utilities are included as well as wi-fi. Use of our washer and dryer is included, some storage space in the house and garage, and a second refrigerator. There is a very large kitchen with lots of kitchen utensils and equipment that you can use. There is a large living room and dining room that we share, a porch in the front of the house and one in the back, and a side yard as well. Air conditioning is available in the living room and dining room but not in the bedrooms. The bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. Our house is only a few feet from the YMCA and about a five minute drive to Kailua town and Kailua Beach. We're only two blocks from Castle Hospital and about the same from the Pali Highway so you can get on the road quickly if you're heading into Honolulu. Street parking is available across from the house. The neighborhood is very safe and is good for walking. I'm sorry, but no pets are allowed. This is the owner's rule and they are adamant about it.
