The New Management at Markham Plaza, Theresa Coon if wise, would build relationships, & seek to secure business & polital ties in the community. Instead, she seams to go out of her way to make enemys. She has gone out of her way to alienate would-be valuable alies in the business community, & has created a hostile envirement that breeds mistrust with the residents of Markham Plaza, & their familys, and local community & business leaders. Everyone at Markham Plaza is extatic that EHC Lifebuilders is gone, & Markham Plaza is finaly under new management. One thing is for sure, EHC Lifebuilders sure made a big mess of things. The Tennents are recovering from 13 months of oppressive martial law. How could EHC Lifebuilders be so neglectful & irresponsible to put someone like Ky Le in charge. Its a wonder there still in business. We hope the hew management company does better. Nobody could manage it any worse than EHC Lifebuilders. Ky Le is such a toxic pressence there. this is the saddest most depressing place i have ever stayed at. the managers are mean and the police harrass and beet people up for no reason. this is san jose but they have an east palo alto cop in plain clothes / no uniform running around with a gun! these people are crazy. lisa stone the security lady has an extensive criminal history and supposedly was a correctional officer at elmwood jail in milpitas. people are glad that ky le is leaving, everyone wants margarette hardy to go also. ...

Markham Plaza is a Mad House! Dont rent here! The tennents here are badly mistreated. Expect the landlord to rifle through your apartment when your not home! expect the see residents and their guests being harrassed, abused, & threatened left & right! If your elderly mother comes to visit, the cops will cavity search her in the elevator! ...

The Tennents of Markham Plaza are treated disgracefully, brutally, and abusively by the Staff, Security, & The San Jose Cops who are stationed there. Several of the residents are terrified to leave their apartments for fear that the San Jose Cops will harrass them or beat them up in the elevator. A neighbor on the third floor experienced 2 San Jose Police Officers barge in on her with a key unanounced & unexpected because her music was turned up loud. March 3rd 2007 Ky Le, The Manager was spotted snooping through a womans room on the fourth floor with no warrant, notice, or aparant cause. Since then, property has been stolen from her apartment while she was not home, & her door was locked. Ky Le is a racist bigot, & an arogant idiot. ...

Dont be tricked into signing a lease at Markham Plaza Apartments. Its being run by criminals. Markham Plaza is absolutely the worse possible places to rent in San Jose. The San Jose cops harrass everybody, & they walk around picking fights with people. The Property director Ky Le is a major racist bigot, and has told people he wants to make Markham Plaza an all Asion complex in the year 2008. Most of the staff & tennants hate him because he is so stupid and arogant. He is completely out of touch with the real issues & lives in his own little twisted world. EHC should fire Ky Le, & he should be prossecuted, & sent to prison. Get rid of these stupid cops also. Especially Sargeant Mike Leininger ( Badge #2245 ) He gives legitimant cops a bad name, & its because of idiots like him, that the San Jose Police are so much despised & hated by the community. If you rent at Markham Plaza Apartments, expect to be treated horribly! They have trigger-happy san jose police officers wandering the hallways, & the grounds picking fights with people, & snooping through tennant files & apartments without warrants. The property director, Ky Le gives them keys, & lets them do pretty much whatever they want. If you disagree or speak out, they might inflict harm upon you. Dont rent at Markham Plaza Apartments. The place is a dump. Most of the On Site managers are O.K. People, but their boss, Ky Le is scandalous & is a racist. He shows preference only to Vietnamese People. His influence at Emergency Housing Consortium, DBA: EHC Life Builders corrupts the entire organization. I would urge everyone to not rent from Markham Plaza Apartments. Ky Le, The Rental Manager is a Racist with a very bad attitude. The residents & staff of Markham Plaza are treated VERY BADLY! Ky Le is known to retaliate against those who speak out against the abuses that take place there. Markham Plaza Apartments cannot make any real progress, but will only regress as long as Ky Le is involved. They allow police to snoop through confidential tenent files, & have access to Apartment Keys, etc. If you call them on it, Ky Le, or the San Jose Police might frame you, or set you up for a crime that you are not guilty for. Sgt: Mike Leininger, Badge# 2245 has been terrorizing the tennants at Markham Plaza for some time. When I tried to assist my wife in getting clarification on policy from Ky Le, Mike Lieninger barged into the conversation and was babbling like a drunken idiot about revoking my civil rights, and actually threatened to frame me. Since I live at Markham Plaza, I have to write anonymously otherwise the manager, Ky Le will be even more hostile to me than he is now, and most likely retaliate. Markham Plaza management is nasty, arbitrary, and unprofessional and the turnover of personnel is constant. They do unannounced inspections of your cell whenever they want under the guise of doing something that is legal. During these inspections, expect your money and other valuables to disappear and your possessions to be riffled through. Ky Le is unresponsive and hostile if you have a problem that need to be attended to. The tenants of Markham Plaza refer to their so-called studio apartments as cells since they are so small, confining, and poorly built. Noise from the low flying jet airplanes, passing trains and local industry is deafening and dirty. Mix that with your noisy neighbors, constant incursions from the fire department and intrusions by police and you can see why few like living here. More tenants leave Markham Plaza than move in because they hate it here. Markham Plaza Security here is a joke there are cameras and so-called security guards at night but they condone drug use, let in drug dealers and ---s, are asleep, or are sexually harassing the woman tenants most times. Few security guards speak English, and it is difficult to make them understand if there is a problem that needs attention. Any positive reviews of Markham Plaza are deceptive propaganda written by the management so they try to get someone to fill the many empty cells. Rent anywhere but Markham Plaza.
