Cannot think of anything negative to write about the complex or its owner/staff. Any request that I had was taken care of immediately. I was never treated as a tenant but more like an extended family member my neighbors expressed the same feeling with regard to their treatment and respect. Would highly recommend renting from Heritage if you are looking for a great location, friendly atmosphere and caring landlord/staff. I couldn't rate the apartment at the level they truly deserve due to this website's rating system that won't allow all excellent ratings on listed categories. ...

While I lived at Heritage Apartments I was a law student at WVU. I would highly recommend this community for anyone who would like to live in a professional atmosphere. While many of the residents were retirees, there was a steady balance of students, primarily in graduate programs or in medical school...the favorable location to the Evansdale campus and medical facilities was most likely the reason for this. The apartments were clean and the common areas were always maintained. The manager, Frank Gutta, was very professional to deal with and with the exception of a leaky faucet that was promptly repaired, I had no problems with management or maintenance while I was there. With home study habits that were as intensive as mine...especially during my last two years of law school...the atmosphere of the community was very preferable compared to some of the other undergrad centered communities in the area. This is a pristine community....good luck to anyone in their apartment search...I hope this helps. Also...I just tried to submit this rating and the website is forcing me to lower one of the ratings for any category. I currently have an excellent marking for every category, however I am being forced to dock something....I am randomly choosing social life. I don't like this rating site because of this. I rented from spring '08 through spring 10. ...

This apartment rating service is a total bunch of bogus crap....Β Β  I tried to give HeritageΒ  Apartments the six excellent marks that they deserve and when I clicked the submit button I got a pop up blocker that said "Come on, it can't be THAT great. Dock them at least one catigory and we'll call it good." It would not allow me to rate Heritage at the six excellent marks that I wanted to. I rented from 2006 through 2009 and the srevice isn't even up to date enough to allow me to enter the year 2009.Β  So..... All I have to say is Yeyyyy to Frank Gutta and all at Heritage Aprtments. In order to get this on here I had to dock you something so I gave a 4 for Social because I was so busy while I lived at Heritage I had no social life! Thank you Heritage for three great years!Β Β  BOOOOOO RATEMYAPARTMENTS.COM I rented from summer '06 through summer '08. ...

I just moved after four years living at Heritage Apartments and I have to say that it is a very nice place to live. The lanlord (Mr. Gutta) was very attentive and the staff was very nice. Any problems that I had were taken care of right away. I enjoyed the grounds with the large trees and it was close enough that I could walk to the Health Siences Center where I am employed. The apartment was large and very well laid out. The Kitchen was large and had ample cabinet space (although no dishwasher)and the huge closets and storage locker were more than adequate. It was nice that it was away from the party atmosphere and the undergrad population and was mostly an adult atmosphere. The common hallways were always clean and the complex was overall very well maintained. Although it's nice to finally own my own home, I can truly rate Heritage as a very place to rent. I rented from summer '05 through winter '08. ...

The owner/landlord Frank Gutta is not trustworthy he will show a fairly well maintained unit that has been recently sprayed to mask the awful stench of sewage and mold. The buildings, located just yards from a noisy road utilized by big rigs are old and smelly. The upkeep is minimal at best. The vast majority of tenants are the stereotypical toothless low-life locals who make life quite unbearable with their substance abuse and fighting at all hours. The appliances are old and quite dangerous to operate. The owner's 1 caretaker is an alcoholic who lives in the complex and has been inplicated in the theft of items from several apartments. Contact WVU office of housing regarding this cesspool. This complex should be bulldozed. I rented from summer '07 through winter '08. ...
