My mother and I inquired about the 2 bed/ 2 bath duplex and were led to believe we had acquired it. After paying the application fee, the electricity bill and putting in our 30 day notice, the leasing agent called and told us 3 days before that our application was denied. First there was an issue with the paystubs I provided and in an attempt to fix them, they were denied again. So naturally, we asked what we could do to rectify this and we received no solution nor a reasonable response. For background I work at a fast food chain and the way they send paystubs is password protected. Also, there was no stipulation in the terms that I saw that said that password protected paystubs couldn’t be screened. We were instructed to call corporate but there was also no answer. They’re avoiding our calls and that is unacceptable and very unethical. They lied and stole from us.
